Yolanda Bosquez Castaneda passed away from natural causes November 23, 2015 in the comfort of her loving family and home. Yolanda was born July 3, 1943 to Manuel and Eluteria Bosquez in Del Rio, Texas. She attended Calaveras Elementary School.
She enjoyed camping, fishing, dancing, and bowling. She loved to spend time with her family and many grandchildren. She dedicated 18 years of her life working for J.R. Simplot.
Yolanda was married on March 15, 1959 to Humberto R. Castaneda. They shared 56 years of love, happiness, and compassion of life for each other.
She is survived by her husband Humberto Castaneda; three sons, Humberto Jr. Castaneda, Albert Castaneda and Casey Castaneda, all of American Falls, Idaho; four daughters, Linda Castaneda Williams of Boise, Idaho, Rose Castaneda Hernandez of Pocatello, Idaho, Bertha Castaneda Hartley of American Falls, Idaho and Cynthia Castaneda Martin of Rigby, Idaho; 29 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and two brothers, David Bosquez and Manuel Bosquez both of Pocatello, Idaho.
She is preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Eluteria Bosquez; brothers Joe, Leo and Danny Bosquez; her uncle Ben Flores; two nephews David Bosquez Jr. and Jesse Bosquez; and two nieces, Lindsay Bosquez and Louisa Bosquez-Arellano.
Funeral Services will be held at the 11:30 am, Friday, November 27, 2015 at American Falls Christian Fellowship, 329 Harrison, American Falls, under the direction of Pastor Dennis Cowell. The family will greet friends prior to the funeral at 10:45 am. Interment will follow the service at Falls View Cemetery.
