Wilma Maxine Johansen

Wilma Maxine Johansen, 85, died Friday, March 9, 2012 in Pocatello.  She was born June 6, 1926 in Stella, Nebraska to Lee & Eunice Hill.  She moved to Pocatello and met Knute Johansen while he was home on leave from the service.  They wrote letters back and forth while he was gone.  After the war they were married on November 14, 1947 at Grace Lutheran Church.  They had four children, Larry (Debra), Donna (Gary) Gehring, Harold (Laura), and Ron Johansen. 

            Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Knute, her parents, sisters, Wilda Toscano, Eoma Lee Masonbrink, and twin sister Wanda Hill; brother, Byrne Baker and grandson Devin Johansen.

            She is survived by her brother Carl Hill, her four children, 10 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

            The Family would like to express their thanks to all the amazing friends that mom had over the years. 

            The funeral will be at 5:00 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2012 at Grace Lutheran Church.  The visitation will be from 6-8p.m. Sunday, March 11 at the church, and at 4:00 p.m. Monday before the funeral.
