Tony Kingsbury

Tony Kingsbury passed away in Pocatello, ID on January 6, 2016 after a short battle with illness.  Tony was born to Lamont Kingsbury and Avis Charron on April 23, 1946 in York, Maine.
Tony moved from New England in the late seventies to Phoenix, AZ, and then in 1987, he moved to West Sacramento, CA.  Tony lived there and was employed with County of Sacramento until 2006, when he retired and moved to Aberdeen, ID.  He enjoyed having coffee with his friends, classic cars, travel, camping and spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his companion of 22 years Ellen Frederick.  His children Aaron (Susan) Kingsbury, Travis (Cathy) Kingsbury, Susan (John) McCarthy, Bryan (Ruth Ann) Earl, Tonya (Dave) Rupp, Thomas (Melony) McVey and Timothy McVey.  He is also survived by his grandchildren Emily, Abigail, Jackson, Sean, Shane, Breanna, Samantha, Mahala, Teela, Kaiya, Kylie, Cloe, Sierra, Kyran, and Breya.  His siblings Anita (Charlie) Ellis, Stan Kingsbury and Flori Hennings, his nieces Misty (Morgan) and Holly and his nephews Todd, Chris, Charlie, Lamont (Diane) and Robby.  He was preceded in death by his mother Avis, his father Lamont, his step mother Helen, his step father Albert, his brother Dick, his sisters in law Chris and Ginny, his nephews Scott and Mike and his beloved pets Tip the cat and Gus the dog.
Per his wishes, there will be no funeral, viewing or burial, however there will be a gathering to remember Tony at the American Legion Hall in Aberdeen Idaho from 10am - Noon on Saturday January 16th.  Please join us to remember Tony, in lieu of sending flowers.  Please send any correspondence to Travis Kingsbury c/o Davis-Rose Mortuary PO Box 413 American Falls, ID 83211.
