Sylvia Puente

Sylvia Puente. Passed July 15, 2019. She was born March 26, 1961 in Rio Hondo Texas to Virginia and Vicente Puente. 

Sylvia is preceded in death by her father Vicente Puente and brother-in-law Daniel Flores. 

Sylvia is survived by her mother Virginia Puente, siblings Socorro, Vicente Jr., Ruben, Armando, Irma and Maggie, children Rebecca, David & Mario, grandchildren Abigail, Alaini, Alejandro, Urijah & Xoie, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends. 

Sylvia is best known as Tita. Best known for cruising around town in her big blue truck, windows down waving and smiling at nearly every driver she knew which was basically everyone. Lake Channel was where she loved spending a lot of time, spending it out at the river with her mom, her sisters and brothers. She’d light up any room with her amazing smile and bright personality not to mention her contagious joyful laugh. She loved people and loved being around people and people loved being around her. Her heart beat for her grandkids. They meant the world to her and not a day went by where she didn’t show them love and affection. They were truly loved by her. She was the family’s biggest supporter and cheerleader especially when her Dallas Cowboys got a pick-6. She’ll be forever missed and will never be forgotten. 

The viewing will be Thursday July 18, 2019 7 PM to 8:30 PM at the American Falls LDS Stake Center 111 Church Place American Falls. Friday July 19 will be another smaller viewing from 12PM to 12:45 PM. Services will begin at 1 PM. A meal will be provided afterwards for those who’d love to stay and share memories and stories they have of our dear mother.
