Stephen (Steve) DeWayne Blaker, 70, of American Falls, Idaho passed away on May 23, 2023 after a brief illness.

Steve was born on October 2, 1953 to Claudie M. and Ona Arlene Blaker in Neodesha, Kansas. After Steve graduated from Altoona-Midway in 1971 he traveled to Aberdeen, Idaho where he joined his brothers Darryl and Bobbie working for Schritter farms.

In 1971 Steve met Linda in a spud field and the rest was history. Steve and Linda had two children, Dawn and Dustin.

In 2018 Steve retired and spent his time mowing yards, plowing snow. He loved visiting and helping his family and friends. 

Steve was preceded in death by his mother and father, sister Shiela, brothers Bobbie and Randy. Steve is survived by his wife; children Dawn and Dustin (Nicoline); grandchildren Travis, Alexis (Russ), K.D. (Anthony), Nathaniel (Dominique), Jaxson (Ophelia), Erik, Elsie, Mercedie, and Kora; and four great grandchildren Aubree, Lucy, Noemi, and Freya; Brothers Darryl (Betty) and Ronnie, many nephews and nieces, cousins and dear friends. 

A viewing will be held at Davis-Rose Mortuary, Tuesday May 28th from 5-6:30 p.m.  A graveside service will fallow on May 31st at Falls View Cemetery at 11 a.m. with a luncheon at St. John’s Lutheran Church to fallow.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to an organization of your choice.  Condolences and memories may be shared at www.davisrosemortuary.com
