Stacey Faught lived her life on the edge of a constant struggle always accompanied by a bright smile. Stacey passed away quietly in her home on February 24, 2023.
Stacey was born on September 27, 1975, to Kevin Fesler and Lorelei Yowell in Sacramento, California. When Stacey was seven, she got the little sister she’d been asking for. She and Valerie were always close. She attended Carmichael Beauty School and got a bookkeeping degree from Heald Business College.
In 2002 Stacey gave birth to Josh, her only son and the light of her life, and in 2012 she married Emmett Faught. Stacey, Emmett, and Josh found their way to Idaho in 2015 where they were reunited with her mom and her sister. Her nephews Matthew and Jonah and her nieces Ella and Abigayle brought Stacey so much joy. She had tremendous fun doting on them.
Stacey’s declining health made it hard for her to get out and do a lot of things. But nothing got in the way of her creativity. Stacey loved to create homemade greeting cards and scrapbooking with her stamps and was a proud representative of Stamping Up. Going to the conventions in Salt Lake to get a sneak peek at new products, enhance her inventory and win prizes was always a favorite activity. She loved to knit and do intricate bead work as well as many more crafts. Stacey had an intense love of people and the urge to make them happy with her gifts of homemade items and delicious recipes cooked from scratch. Stacey loved holidays and would decorate her entire home with trinkets and banners to celebrate each one.
She is survived in death by her husband Emmett Faught, her son Josh Faught, her father Kevin Feser, her mother Lorelei Yowell, her sister Val Stewart, nephews Matthew and Jonah, and her nieces Ella and Abigayle.
