Sandra Gonzalez, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on September 17, 2023, in American Falls. She was born on February 25, 1994, in Pocatello. Sandra's life was full of adventure and compassion, and she touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Sandra had an insatiable love for travel. Among her favorite destinations was Phoenix, Arizona, where she found solace and joy. In 2021, Sandra embarked on a memorable journey to Dolores Hidalgo Guanajuato in Mexico, where her parents and some siblings are from. It was during this trip that she experienced the vibrant culture and formed everlasting connections with the people she met.
One of Sandra's remarkable qualities was her unwavering willingness to help others. She would go out of her way to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her kindness had no bounds, and she brought light into the lives of many.
With a strong heart and an open mind, Sandra cherished the opportunity to meet new people. Her warm smile and friendly demeanor made her instantly approachable to all. Whether it was a brief encounter or a lifelong friendship, Sandra left an everlasting impact on those she crossed paths with.
Sandra's life will be honored and remembered through various services held at St. Mary's Catholic Church located at 352 Roosevelt St in American Falls, Idaho. A Rosary visitation will take place on Thursday, September 21, from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This gathering will be an opportunity for family and friends to come together and reflect upon the memories shared with Sandra.
A second visitation will be held on Friday, September 22, from 10:00 to 10:45a.m. Family members and loved ones may pay their respects while sharing fond stories about Sandra. A Mass celebrating Sandra's life will follow the visitation on September 22, 2023, at 11:00 AM, also taking place at St. Mary's Catholic Church. This solemn and uplifting service will provide solace to those mourning the loss of such a remarkable individual.
Sandra leaves behind her grieving parents, Lorenzo and Soledad Gonzalez, who nurtured her with unconditional love throughout her life. She also leaves behind her siblings Rosa, Victor, Alex, Cergio, Stefanie, and Dulce, all of whom shared countless precious moments with Sandra.
While Sandra's physical presence may no longer be with us, her spirit will continue to reside in our hearts.
