Rulon Lee Morse was born in Downey, Idaho on Mrch 4th, 1958 to Ted and Kay Newbold Morse. He was a twin to his sister Robyn. He has 3 brothers and 7 sisters; Teddy (Sherry), Cathy (Okie, deceased), Cher, Jim (Vicky), Robyn (Daniel), Denise (Mike), Evan (Ginger) and JaLyn (Edward), Kelly Deon (Rod). A sister, Teddy Jean, passed away as an infant.
Rulon was a natural athlete and possessed a Welch tongue. He never met a stranger and would give his last dollar and shirt, and home to someone in need.
He was an over-the-road truck driver most of his life and a true credit to his profession. Arthritis in his back later plagued him and he worked locally until he could no longer do so.
Rulon has been married twice but he finally really settled down with his soul mate Vickie Kimplim. He and Vickie enjoyed a quiet life together.
Rulon lived and loved hard. He loved Classic Rock and Classic Country music, Fishing, hunting, camping and family get togethers. But he particularly loved riding his Harley. Three generations of cousins, nieces and nephews will miss his relentless teasing. He was much loved by us all.
He joins his parents, grandparents, sister, a nephew and niece, brother-in-law and many aunts and uncles at God’s Throne.
Rulon’s family would like to express our appreciation to Davis-Rose Mortuary for their help in this difficult time. Rulon will be interred at Downey Cemetery at a private service at his request.
