Robert Parley Campbell

Robert (Bob) Parley Campbell, 77, of Aberdeen Idaho, died March 19, 2022, in Blackfoot, Id.

Bob was born September 13, 1944 in Rigby, Idaho to Parley Robert and Lois Campbell.

Bob attended high school in Rigby and then served a mission in Scotland for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When he returned home, he went to College at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho where he met Ilene Brighton. They were married in February of 1967 in the Idaho Falls Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bob always wanted to be a farmer and enjoyed the time that was spent working on the farm. He enjoyed music and often was whistling or singing while he was working. He enjoyed playing softball and taught his children to play at very young ages. Bob was very proud of his children and did what he could to make sure they knew it. He would try to go to anything they invited him to just to support them.

Bob is survived by his wife, Ilene; children, Dee (Karena); Ben (Sandra); Debbie; James (Emily); John (Amanda); Linda; Karen (Terry); Carol (Russ); 32 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, siblings Steve, Gary, Barbara and Julie.

Preceded in death by his parents, Parley and Lois; brothers, Paul and Ron.

There will be a visitation from 6-7:45 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2022, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 149 W. Central, Aberdeen, Idaho.  An additional visitation will be from 9-9:45 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022, at the Church, with the funeral service starting at 10:00 a.m. Bob will be buried in the Aberdeen Cemetery.
