Marla Kay Corbridge Schultz, 71, passed away February 18, 2016 surrounded by her loving family following a short illness at Portneuf Medical Center.
Marla Kay was born June 6, 1944 to Lee Corbridge and Dorothy Hansen Corbridge. She was the fourth of nine children. She attended school in American Falls and graduated in 1962.
On October 13, 1967 she married the love of her life, August "Junior" Schultz. They were blessed with five children Debbie, Dave, Tena, Shannon, and Desiree.
Marla Kay loved her family, gardening, making porcelain dolls, going for long drives in the mountains, watching wildlife, scrapbooking, tole painting, sewing, reading, and was very talented at interior decorating. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family and always cooking a fabulous meal.
Marla Kay is survived by her husband of 48 years, August "Junior" Schultz; her children Debbie (Earl) Wallace, David (Pauline) Schultz, Tena (James) Sprague, Shannon Schultz, Desiree Saiz; twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; three brothers, Virgil (Pat), Don, and Lee Corbridge and one sister Gayla Carlson; one great sister-in-law Sandy Corbridge and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Lee and Dorothy, and her siblings Beverly, Sharon, Doralee, and Ron.
A viewing will be held from 6-730PM Mon., Feb. 22, 2016 at Davis-Rose Mortuary. The Funeral service will be held 11AM Tues., Feb 23, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 111 Church Place, American Falls with a viewing prior to services from 10-10:45 AM.
