A gentle soul, Leonard was known for his big heart and willingness to help others, offering assistance without hesitation at any hour of the day or night. Those who knew Leonard appreciated that while he extended trust to others, it was a privilege not easily regained once lost.
Leonard was a jack of all trades, with hobbies that included fishing (drowning the worm), photography, reading, and woodworking. He found joy in invention and problem-solving, always eager to lend a hand or share a laugh. Some of the most cherished memories that his family holds dear revolve around family adventures to national parks, playful moments with his children, and the countless hours spent supporting them through their educational journeys.
In his personal life, Leonard was especially proud of his role as a father, grandfather, and great grandfather. His love for his children, Augustus (Joe) Isaak and Jenifer Marie Isaak-Sprayberry, was paramount, and he embraced the opportunity to adopt them, ensuring they would always be part of his life. He took profound pride in aiding his grandchildren through school, celebrating their achievements alongside them. Leonard is also survived by his sister Charlotte; his nephews, Peter and Joe; three grandson, Collin, Gowen, and Garradyn; and seven great-grandchildren, all of whom were treasured members of his family.
