Ann Hurtado, age 86, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Ashley Manor in Pocatello, Idaho. Ann was born on October 6, 1938 as a triplet (one sister-Ethel and one brother-Joseph) to Carlisle "Buck" and Nedra Copeland. She started elementary school in Aberdeen and attended through 3rd grade. In 1947 the family moved to a cattle ranch in Nebraska, 25 miles from Hay Springs. She lived there and attended school through her freshman year. The family returned to Aberdeen Idaho in the summer of 1953.
Ann graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1956 and in that same year, she met and married Kent Jackman on November 4th, 1956 in Aberdeen. They were married for 25 years and had three daughters Nedra, Karolyn and Julie. Kent passed away in 1982. In 1984, Ann met Francisco “Pancho” Hurtado and they were married on January 26, 1985. That were married 37 years until Francisco’s death in 2022.
Through the years, Ann worked as a waitress and cook at the Spud Bowl and the Chuck Wagon Café. Later, she worked for J.R. Simplot for 18 years until her retirement in 2003.
Ann enjoyed Bowling, Antiquing, Reading and her favorite hobby was Collecting Pins. It is estimated that she had over 1000 pins and she loved them all.
In 2001, Ann received a kidney transplant and lived a healthy life with that kidney for over 24 years, until her passing.
Ann was preceded in death by spouses: Kent Jackman and Francisco Hurtado, her parents: Buck and Nedra Copeland, seven siblings: Patricia Corwin, Duane Copeland, Leroy Copeland, Joseph Copeland, Ethel Austin, Lawrence Copeland, David Copeland and one grandson: Ryan Berry.
Ann is survived by her daughters: Nedra (Jim) Call, Karolyn (Damon) Allred, Julie (Mike) Malone; 7 grandchildren Lindy, Cami, Crista, Reggie, Brian, Carson, Lacey and 15 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 AM, January 18, 2025 at Davis-Rose Mortuary in American Falls, Idaho. Interment will follow at the Aberdeen Cemetery. Condolences and memories may be shared at DavisRoseMortuary.com.
