LaKhrista Mae Rigdon

LaKhrista M Rigdon died September 16th in American Falls ID, from a car accident. She was born July 16th 1985 in Lima Ohio. LaKhrista could accomplish anything she put her mind to. She was a caregiver for Home Helpers for 1 1/2 years. LaKhrista moved to Idaho with one of her sisters and her mother in 2001. As a little girl she was very girly and could never leave the house without doing her make-up and using almost the whole can of hair spray on her hair. She was a very good student and always got awards for haven good grades. She wanted to go back to school for her RN and was working on going back next year. She has 3 amazing children that she loved doing things with. She loved doing outdoor things with her kids. Listening to music was one of her favorite things to do; she always had to listen to her favorite songs.
                She is survived by her mother Teresa L Poindexter her father Mark E Rigdon, 3 sisters Latisha M (Brian) Schroeder, LaNeea M (Michael) Segovia, and LaManda M (Desaeth) Hernandez and 2 half sisters Katrina Rigdon and Brianna Rigdon, 3 children Haley M Merritt, Natalie M Merritt, Kaden J Nebeker; great grandmother Ruth Kortier, nine nieces and nephews, lots of cousins, aunts and uncles.

                Preceded in death by paternal grandparents William and Clara Rigdon, maternal grandparents Robert and Bettie Gumm, great grandparents Ralph Kortier, Clearance and Ann Gumm, Margret Kohn; uncles Robert Brannon and John Arden Gumm.

                The visitation for LaKhrista will be from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Davis-Rose Mortuary 170 Idaho Street, American Falls, ID. The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 21, at the American Falls Community Church, 745 Bennett Ave., American Falls.  A memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. at the Lima Community Church of the Nazarene, 2945 N. Cole St. Lima, Ohio, with Rev. Russel Gumm officiating at the services.
