Katherine Violet Rodgers

Katherine Violet Rodgers, a cherished daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on August 31, 2024, in American Falls, Idaho, at the tender age of 17. Born on February 11, 2007, in Blackfoot, Katherine was a bright spirit, known for her loving nature and compassion towards everyone she encountered.

 As a senior at American Falls High School, Katherine poured her heart into her studies and expressed her creativity through her passion for art and crafts. Her love for animals, especially horses, was evident and filled her life with joy. Katherine held a special place in her heart for her beloved bunny, Boo, who brought her endless comfort and companionship.

 Katherine was not just a student; she was a vibrant presence among her peers and family. She cherished the time spent with her cousins and siblings, CJ and Marrisa, always nurturing those bonds with her warmth and kindness. Katherine's loving disposition left a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know her.

 Katherine’s legacy will continue to resonate through her devoted parents, Clinton and Kristin Stancliff Rodgers, who provided her with a nurturing environment filled with love and support. She was also preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Katherine Ann Cote, who surely welcomed her with open arms.

 A visitation in memory of Katherine will be held on September 13, 2024, from 9:45 AM to 10:45 a.m. at the American Falls High School, located at 2966 S Frontage Rd, American Falls, ID 83211. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place starting at 11:00 a.m. in the school’s auditorium. Katherine will then be laid to rest at Falls View Cemetery, at 2938 McKinley Rd., American Falls, ID 83211.

 Katherine Violet Rodgers will be remembered not only for her artistic talents and love for animals but also for her boundless affection and the joy she brought to those around her.
