Jennie P. Butterfield Schroeder passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 at Spring Creek Assisted Living in American Falls, Idaho.
She was born July 20, 1926 in Grace, Idaho to Ferrebee and Ivy May Butterfield. Jennie was the 5th of 11 brothers and sisters.
Jennie and her family lived in Chesterfield and she graduated from nearby North Gem High School in Bancroft, Idaho. After graduation Jennie and her sister Elsie moved to Pocatello where they worked at the Naval Ordanance Plant during World War II.
Jennie met Robert Schroeder through her brother Ferrebee and they were married on June 8, 1945 in American Falls, Idaho.
Robert and Jennie worked side by side on their farm for 69 years. Jennie made many lasting friendships by selling milk at their dairy farm.
Jennie was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 2014, their son Clifford, her sister Virginia Butterfield, brother Ferrebee Butterfield, sister Elsie Cornelison, brother Frank Butterfield, brother David Butterfield and her brother Floyd Butterfield.
She is survived by children R. Richard (Winnie) Schroeder, Jr. American Falls, ID; Ronda (Steve) Ranstrom, Burley, ID; Debra (George) Garbiso, Las Vegas, NV; Nick (Sheila) Schroeder, American Falls, ID; and Troy (Bonny) Schroeder, Pocatello, ID. 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren survive her as well as her sisters Dorothy Sorensen and Rhoda Bennett and her brothers Robert Butterfield and Melvin Butterfield.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, November 12, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints First Ward Building, 111 Church Place in American Falls. Viewings will be held 6-8 pm Friday, November 11 at Davis-Rose Mortuary, 170 Idaho St. in American Falls and 10:00-10:45 am prior to the Funeral service at the church.
