Janeen Joy Mayer

Our beloved sister, Joy, went home to be with the Lord on April 22, 2018.  Joy was born November 7, 1957 to Earl and Bonnie Mayer in American Falls, Idaho.

Joy grew up on the Mayer farm south of American Falls, with her three brothers.

She graduated from American Falls High School in 1976.  Joy spent her entire life living in the American Falls valley.  After high school she worked at Lamb Weston, Rogers Café, the bowling alley, and as a substitute teacher at American Falls High School.

From 1980 to 1995, Joy served as the Vice President of the Pocatello Speedway, she really enjoyed running the race track with her family.

Joy worshipped and served at American Falls Christian Fellowship where she was also a Missionettes Leader.

Her generosity to serve others was always her first priority.  Her giving and service to the community will be remembered by many.

She took great pleasure in cooking and baking in the Kitchen.

Joy “Loved the little ones.” She babysat for many friends and family.

Survivors include three brothers: Rich of Hemet, CA; Rob of Las Vegas, NV; Tommy of Blackfoot, ID; Aunt Lila Hickman of American Falls, ID; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at American Falls Christian Fellowship, 329 Harrison St, American Falls, April 30t, 2018 at 11:00 A.M.
