Dwayne L. Permann

Dwayne Lynn Permann passed away at his home from natural causes on January 11, 2013.

Dwayne was born on April 30, 1954, in American Falls, the fifth child to Vera and Ernest Permann.
He graduated from American Falls H.S. in 1972.  Dwayne dry farmed with his brother Ivan for many years until his retirement in 2002.  He lived in American Falls until 2009 when he purchased a home in Pocatello.
Dwayne was an avid sports fan especially of the Utah Jazz and the Lady Bengals basketball team, which he attended faithfully with his sister Shawn.  He also enjoyed rock and roll,jazz, woodworking, politics, and he followed his mother's footsteps in making pies. 
Dwayne's greatest gift to his family was being a dedicated caregiver to his mother from 2001 until her death in 2009.
Dwayne is survived by his brothers, Lanny (Marcia), Ivan (Joan) and sisters, Judy (LeeRoy) Dials and Shawn Garner (Brad) Hooker.  Additional survivors include eleven nephews and three nieces.  He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Vera Permann and brother, Dennis.
There will be a visitation at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Davis-Rose Mortuary, 170 Idaho St. American Falls, Idaho.  The interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Falls View Cemetery.  Condolences and memories may be shared at www.davisrosemortuary.com.
