Don Diehl, 81, passed away at Portneuf Regional Medical Center on June 11, 2023. He had battled numerous health issues. Don was born August 8, 1941 in Sterling, Idaho to Edward “Doc” Diehl and Erma Snow.
He spent his early years in Aberdeen and American Falls. Later he joined the Air Force. After serving his country Don enjoyed riding broncs while rodeoing with his cousin Blair McMillan. He spent his career in construction and truck driving. He lived in Oregon, Idaho, and California.
Don was a character. He could vividly tell of his past. He could make family and friends laugh out loud.
He loved our country. He was patriotic and stayed abreast of politics. His favorite past-times were fishing and Flying in the P 51 Mustang with Doug Driscoll.
We would like to give a special thanks to the current and former staff of Edgewood Spring Creek. We also appreciated the care and comfort given to Don by the personnel of Portneuf Medical Center.
Survivors include cousins Sandra Paulene McMillan and Blair (Doris) McMillan, Shawn McMillan, Rasonda Crandall, Michael Crandall, Cherri (Mark) Oskins, James Oskins, Caitlin Oskins and other numerous cousins.
Predeceased by his mother Erma Snow, father, Edward “Doc” Diehl, brothers Phillip Diehl and Voyne Hansen and sister, Cleo Diehl.
