Deo Facer Bailey, 87, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at his home in American Falls, Idaho. Deo was born at home in Arbon Valley on May 4, 1928 to Lorenzo Hawkins Bailey and Agnes Chloa Facer Bailey. Growing up in Arbon Valley, Deo learned to enjoy outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and riding horses. Deo enjoyed the many years of socializing with his friends at the Silver Horseshoe. In addition to his parents, Deo was preceded in death by 6 sisters and 3 brothers.
Deo is survived by his wife, Kay Bailey of 47 years; his five children Karen Thomas, Kathy Krek, Wayd Bailey, Kyle Bailey, and Zane Bailey; two sons-in-law Jan Thomas and Jay Krek; three daughters-in-law Pam Bailey, Julie Bailey, and Javonni Bailey; twelve grandchildren Shane Thomas, Dayna Sue Caroll, Malia Roundy, Brent Sanborn, Kimberlee Wallace, Natalie Howard, Jason Bailey, Jackie Harris, Justin Bailey, Jared Bailey, Zach Mendoza, and Brock Bailey; and 26 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be provided by Davis-Rose Mortuary. A viewing will be held Sunday, April 3rd from 6:00-7:30 pm at Davis-Rose Mortuary, 170 Idaho St and Monday, April 4th from 11:00-11:45 am prior to funeral services at 12 Noon at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints American Falls 1st Ward, 111 Church Place, both in American Falls. Interment will take place at Falls View Cemetery.
