On January 31, 2121 Chery Irene Dewbre departed this world to return to her heavenly father. Born in Fairfield, California to Richard Eugene Koons and Daizy Zelma Stiles. She live in many places the last being in American falls, Idaho. She passed away from health issues related to a stroke she had in January of 2020.
Chery attended college in Tulsa,Ok where she obtained an associate's degree in paralegal. Her job history over the years included working for a convience store and liquor store in Crane, Tx. She also worked for the state of Oklahoma in the child support division. She many other jobs but her greatest was being the mother to two boys and one girl. Whom she loved with all her heart. She also had of love for animals of all sizes and she always had at least a cat and a dog if not multiple of them. She also loved the gospel and the teachings it brought.
She is survived by her three children. Scott ( Sherry) Hart of Rowlett,TX, Candy Hollowell of Tulsa, Ok , Chris (Susan Brown) of American Falls, Idaho. She has 8 Grandchildren . Mackenzie (Cassandra) Hart, Mallory (Trevor) Goodwin, Chris (Laury) Stricklin, Alex Hart, Morgan Hollowell, Meagan "Bec" Hollowell, Jeffrey Brown, and Austin Brown. She also has several great grandchildren. She is also survived by her two brothers and one sister. Frank Koons, Eugene Koons, and Becky Staley. She also has several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by both her parents Richard Koons and Daizy Stiles. Along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services to be held February 6,2121 at Davis-Rose Mortuary. Time for service will be at 3pm.
Want to give thanks to those that knew her and cared for her this last year. Especially thanks to Power County Nursing home and all the staff there. All of you are great people and showed her such love. Also a big thank you to Jerry and Janet Hubbs with everything you have done and still do to this day. I know she felt the love from everyone. One more person to say thank you to is Jeffrey Brown. You showed her how much you loved her and helped her when she was in need even if it was in the middle of the night.
A visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Davis-Rose Mortuary 170 Idaho Street, American Falls, Idaho. The Celebration of Life service will follow at 3 p.m. The service will be available to view live at www.davisrosemortuary.com.
