Chanda was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania to Jamie Ray Vanek and Patricia Irene McKeegan.
She moved to American Falls when she was two years old where she lived most of her life.
She attended American Falls High School and later Idaho State University, where she was accepted into the Machining Technology Program. For Chanda, her greatest accomplishment was her son, Uriah. Family was important to her, and she was very close to her father and grandmother. She loved everything her dad loves: music, machining, motorcycles, hunting and having a good time! She loved people and helping them, and had many, many friends.
Chanda was preceded in death by her cousin, Rachel Vanek, her mother, Patricia McKeegan, her great-aunt, Lois Love and her Grandpa Bob (Vanek).
Chanda is survived by her son, Uriah Verikas, her father, Jamie Vanek, her grandmother, Joan Vanek and her brother and sister, Jamie Vanek Jr. and Katie Vanek. Chanda was loved by many and she will be deeply missed.
There will be a service to celebrate Chandaâs life at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 29, at Powerhouse Christian Fellowship, 2905 Sunbeam Rd, American Falls.
Chandaâs family would like to give our sincere thanks to all of those who have generously donated to Chandaâs Farewell fund. Anyone who would like to contribute may visit: https://gofundme.com/2cznjczg
