Bobby “Bob” Ray Blaker, 79, of Aberdeen Idaho passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday November 9th, 2022, after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Bobby was born on June 20th, 1943, in Neodesha, KS to his parents Claudie and Arlene Blaker. He was the third of six children. Bobby spent the majority of his adolescent life in Altoona, KS where he graduated from Altoona High School in 1961. He later moved to Aberdeen, ID in 1965 with his first wife Doris Stanley and with tis union come four sons. Bobby and Doris divorced in 1984.
Bobby had worked for Schritter Farms for about 57 years and loved working the farm life. He was a hard worker and always loved to stay busy. Bobby loved baseball and played softball in the church league. He was a die hard Dodgers fan and loved going to their games in California. He also loved bowling and was on the bowling league, he met his second wife Pat Reid. They were married on March 1st, 1991.
Bobby was a wonderful man and will be missed by many.
Bobby is survived by his wife Pat Blaker; five sons: Paul (Linda) Spengler, Mike (Kathy) Blaker, Tony (Franny) Blaker, Corey (Caralyn) Blaker, Chris (Shalae) Kane; one daughter Alycia Fessler; three brothers Darryl (Betty) Blaker, Ronnie Blaker, Steve (Linda) Blaker; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Claude and Arlene Blaker; sister Sheila Dunsworth and brother Randy Blaker.
There will be a viewing on Tuesday November 15th from 5-7 p.m. at Davis-Rose Mortuary (170 Idaho St.) in American Falls. A second viewing will be on Wednesday, November 16 from 10-10:45 at Calvary Community Chapel in Aberdeen. The funeral will follow, begging at 11:00 a.m. The interment will be at Aberdeen Cemetery.
