Beatrice Arlene Kopp, 87, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, entered her eternal home on Sunday, August 23, 2020 surrounded by her family. Beatrice was born in Pleasant Valley, Idaho on August 12, 1933 to Elmer Funk, Sr. and Mary Gehring Funk. She attended school in American Falls. On September 9, 1951 she married Ben Kopp, Jr. in Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Pleasant Valley, the last ceremony performed in that church before that church transitioned to St. John's Lutheran Church. As a farm wife, Mom worked alongside Dad in the field, driving truck and even running a tractor and combine. She loved baking and created beautifully-decorated cakes for all occasions. She also created a huge selection of quality candy recipes and attended confectionary classes in Oakland, CA, after which she opened her own business, The Chocolate Farm. Amid all this, she raised four great kids: Sandra, Steve, Sherm (Phyllis) and Sherri (William Hensley). Besides her children, Beatrice is survived by grandchildren Marci (Cody Foster), Jamie (Shawn Oram), Lindsay, Jaimie, and Michael and great-grandchildren Kelli, Kolton, Taylor, Kendall, and Myla.
