Barbara C. Pattee

Barbara C Pattee, 90, of American Falls passed away from cancer December 23, 2012 at her home with family by her side.  She was born November 6, 1922 to Vernon Moroni and Bertha Sylvenia Callan Phillips in Dayton, Idaho.

She attended school in Osgood, Idaho and Ammon, Idaho.

She Married Donald Wayne Pattee on March 13, 1940.  He preceded her in death in 1975.  As her cancer progressed she expressed her desire and looked forward to dancing with him again.

She worked art RT French Company and Idaho Potato Grower in Shelley, Idaho.  She retired from Lamb Weston in American Falls.  She was a member of the Foster Grandparent Program in the American Falls District for 14 years.  While with the program she received a Presidential Commendation for her service.  The joy of her life was her family and serving others.  Her favorite occupation was that of being a grandmother.  She enjoyed reading, gardening, quilting, crocheting and her church activities as she served in many callings all her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and son, Ronald DeWayne Pattee.

She is survived by 3 children, Terry Reid Pattee (Linda), Shelley, Idaho, Fraundsie Kay Duncan, Smithfield, Utah, Patricia Joyce Payne (Marshall), American Falls, Idaho, 15 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren. 

Funeral services were held December 28, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, American Falls 2^nd ward, with burial in the Falls View Cemetery, American Falls, Idaho.  Condolences and memories may be shared at www.davisrosemortuary.com.
