Barbara "Bobbie" Mauch, a beloved member of the community, passed away on January 25, 2025, in Chubbuck, Idaho, at the age of 79. Born on June 30, 1945, in American Falls, Idaho, she lived a life filled with kindness, social engagement, and genuine warmth.

Bobbie had a distinguished career as a public servant, having served as the Power County Treasurer from 1999 until her retirement in 2010. Her commitment to her work was matched by her dedication to her community, where she contributed her time and talents to various boards and committees, including the Idaho Association of Counties, the Treasurers Association, the Gerald Fehringer Youth Center, PEO Chapter 4, and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Bobbie's involvement extended beyond formal roles; she actively participated in numerous community projects that enriched the lives of those around her.

Her educational journey reflects a rich upbringing, having been raised in a military family that took her around the globe. Bobbie spent portions of her childhood in various countries, including a notable time in Vietnam during her early teenage years. She pursued higher education at Florida State University, the University of London, and Michigan State University, which shaped her worldview and profound character.

Bobbie was known for her kind-hearted and bubbly personality, described by her loved ones as a beautiful spirit and a true friend. Her interests included reading, Bible studies, playing cards, meeting up with her friends and engaging in church activities. She cherished spending quality time with her family and friends, creating lasting memories that reflected her vibrant spirit.

Her family remembers her as a woman of great faith and as someone who inspired those around her. She is survived by her loving children, Mark Rienstra (Kammile), Gina Rienstra Glascock, Sheila Hyatt (Keith), Tammy Mauch (Warren Yardon), Timothy Mauch Jr. (Deanna), and Michelle White (Glen).  Nicole Hernandez (Les), with whom she was graced the privilege to help raise for two wonderful years. Bobbie also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, including Chase Glascock, Riley Glascock (Jerik May), Gianna Glascock, Weston Harris, Shad Harris (Ashley), Kascie Russell (Justin), Weston Herbst (Andra), Jereme Mauch, Anthony White, Alisha Humphrey (Shawn), and Angelique Modesto (Mauricio), who she adored, along with many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her step-mother Ingrid Sheehan, sister-in-law Linda Sheehan, brother and sister-in-law Walt and Jean Mauch, and brother-in-law Karl Mauch, as well as many extended family members and a lot of very special, precious friends.

Bobbie is predeceased by her devoted husband Timothy Mauch, her parents Richard J. Sheehan and Betty Sheehan, her brother William (Bill) Sheehan, sister Vicki Jones, cousin and best friend Dianne Funk, grandson Dale Herbst, and many other extended family members.

A visitation will be held on January 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM, both taking place at Shepherd of the Falls, located at 246 Lee St, American Falls, Idaho.

Bobbie Mauch's legacy is one of love, faith, and unwavering commitment to God, her family, friends and community. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
