Arvilla Jean Fox

Arvilla Jean Fox 89 of Idaho Falls, Idaho formerly of Aberdeen Idaho passed away on Sunday, June 3 2012.

Jean was born September 1, 1922 daughter of Bert and Annie Walker of Aberdeen, Idaho.  Jean married the love of her life Francis Fox on May 18, 1940.  They lived happily together for 64 years raising a family of 7 kids on a small farm on the edge of town.

 Jean loved outdoor activities and family gatherings.  She was a member of the LDS Church, Modern Woodmen of America, Aberdeen Bowling League, and Senior Citizens.  Jean is survived by her sister Thelma Robinson of Aberdeen,ID; daughters Jeanette (Darrell) Tinker of Idaho Falls, Frances “Blondie” (Chuck) Hefner of Horseshoe Bend, ID, son Jim Fox of Denver, CO, daughters, Carol (Roger) Smith of Valdez AK, Julie Kay (Norman) Rademacher of McCammon, ID, Mary Anne (Kim) Crofts of Shelley, ID, Tracy Fox of Valdez, AK; 25 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, & 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Jean was preceded in death by her loving husband, her parents, a brother Raymond Walker, and 3 sisters, Ida Nungesser, Phyllis Steinlicht, and Margaret Brado, and one granddaughter, Amber Rademacher. 

The funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 11 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Aberdeen First Ward, 149 W. Central, Aberdeen, ID.  Interment will be in the Aberdeen Cemetery.

The visitation will be Friday, June 8th from 6-8 pm at Davis-Rose Mortuary, 170 Idaho St. American Falls and Saturday from 9:45-10:45 am at the church prior to the service
