Amber King Henrie, 48, of Aberdeen, passed away Saturday September 24, 2016. She was born June 24, 1968 in American Falls to Karen Palmer and Veryl Worth King. She went on to receive her GED from Idaho State University in 1991 and her Associates in Electrical Technology from the Great Basin College in Elko, NV in 2001. She began working for Pleasant Valley Potato, Inc. in their Human Resources department. She fought a tremendous battle against cancer lasting two years. Although she was young, she touched many lives. She left a positive impact wherever she went and will be greatly missed by many. She is survived by her husband, Doug Henrie; children, Taiya, Natahni, and Jarrett; brothers, Johnny, Martin, and Murrell; sisters, Shanon, Desirae, Dana, Valerie, Kandace, and Katrina; her grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Family, friends, and those whose lives were made better by the presence of Amber, are invited to attend services in her memory on Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Aberdeen 1st Ward building, 149 W. Central, Aberdeen, Idaho. The visitation will be from 9:30-10:45 A.M., and the funeral will start at 11am, followed by the burial ceremony at the Aberdeen Cemetery. There will be a luncheon back at the church to reminisce and show support to each other.
